Frequently Asked Questions

What check paper do I need?

CHAX CLOUD generates PDFs formatted for standard 8.5" × 11" blank check paper with MICR toner. We recommend using pre-printed check stock with security features for best results.

Is my banking information secure?

Yes. All routing numbers and account numbers are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored in the database. Sensitive fields are never stored in plain text.

Can I print multiple checks at once?

Currently each check is printed individually. Batch printing is on our roadmap for a future update.

What is the MICR line on a check?

The MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) line at the bottom of a check contains the check number, bank routing number, and account number in a special E-13B font that can be read by bank processing equipment.

How do I void a check?

Go to Check History, find the check you want to void, and click the Void button. The check will be marked as voided in your records and any future PDF download of that check will display a large VOID watermark.

How do I upgrade my subscription plan?
